Family Health Program

Exercise, Diet and Well-Being! What a better combination

Kids 'n Motion will offer a new program to work with families to incorporate exercise with staff from St. Lukes to educate on diet and over all well being.

There will be a pre and post evaluation to determine the level of progress made. Every other week St. Lukes will come in to educate while we exercise on healthy eating habits, how to appropriately monitor the food consumption of the family, portion control and other topics.

Whether your children are healthy and fit, needing improvements in strength or coordination, may have a physical or cognitive disability, maybe overweight or obese Kids 'n Motion is the place for them. provides a place for all children to learn and practice methods of living a healthy lifestyle. The staff works by incorporating an enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere in which movement and exercise are fun. With children living sedentary lives and limited physical exposure, provides an opportunity to gain physical exercise and improve their health and development. There are and will always be children in need of a place to workout. Children are not allowed in adult gyms without supervision and may have limited children's classes. seeks to offer classes for children ranging in age from three months to twelve years of age. began its development in November 2002. Physical fitness has been the primary focus of healthy living for the past two decades. It is especially important for children to participate in physical activities in order to develop healthy, lifelong habits. There is a true need for an area in which all children have the opportunity to exercise in an environment that is kid friendly. provides this experience for children through classes each week. Each week the classes emphasize cardio/aerobics, balance, coordination, yoga, resistance training, circuit training, bilateral integration, flexibility and much more. To gain the true gym experience it is a must to try a class, feel the benefits, and see the smiles!
